Artificial vs Real
When you rent a Christmas tree, the same tree can be used for several years, reducing the need to cut down new trees each year and lowering your carbon footprint. This helps to preserve forests and reduces the environmental impact associated with tree harvesting. In many areas, cut Christmas trees end up in landfills rather than being used for compost or replanted for use the following year.
Rented vs Purchase
Renting a tree can help minimise waste, as the tree is returned to us for reuse the following year. Renting decorations is also a more environmentally friendly choice as it reduces the demand for new decorations to be manufactured each year.
SKOOT Partnership
As part of our commitment to the environment, we have partnered with SKOOT, a certified B corp in the top 5%, to plant trees in the Amazon, Kenya and Nepal, aid reforestation and cut carbon emissions. For every order placed on our website, Bough&Bauble will commit to planting a tree via SKOOT.
